Dear A Passion for Dance supporters:

Thank you so much for your comments, likes, contributions and overall encouragement for this worthwhile project. Thank you for believing as much as we do that a documentary about dancers with disabilities can make a difference.

In order to make the film we wanted and that you have supported, we established a goal of $70,000. Unfortunately, we were only able to raise 42% of the necessary funds to make the film.

As this was a first effort, we obviously learned many lessons in the art of film making and, because we feel that the message is too important to cut corners, we have decided that we will shelve the project for now. Our plan is to regroup and try again later in 2016.

For those of you who made financial contributions, all will be refunded by Indiegogo in the next week. We hope that we can count on your support in the future when A Passion for Dance returns to center stage.

Best wishes for a safe and happy holiday season,
A Passion for Dance Team

A Passion for Dance is a film about dancers with disabilities who have overcome adversity to follow their dreams.

Donna Russo, an actress and dancer, was born with Turner syndrome and now lives with late on-set FSH Muscular Dystrophy that affects muscle movement and limits her flexibility.

Tam Warner, an industry leading choreographer, has a “hidden disability” due to heart disease exacerbated by a rare inflammatory illness.

But for Donna and Tam, and many other life-long dancers, courage and tenacity  have driven them to do  what they love most, to DANCE!

A Passion for Dance is the story of Tam, Donna and a unique group of dancers who share in the joy and passion of movement and demonstrate their resolve to never give up!
